Take on an unforgettable adventure through the wild and beautiful landscapes of Mid Wales with The HOWUM 2026 – a 30-mile (approx. 48km) ultra marathon designed to showcase the very best of the Welsh heartlands.

Starting and finishing in the historic town of Llanidloes, this scenic circular route explores some of the region’s most iconic trails, including Glyndŵr’s Way, the Severn Way, and the Wye Valley Walk.

Runners will journey through rolling hills, forest tracks, and open moorland, passing the breathtaking Clywedog Reservoir and even reaching the source of the River Severn – the UK’s longest river.
